Broderick Sherrod Rowland, 17, was injured in a shooting in the 1200 block of Angelus Drive in Raleigh around 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2009.

Raleigh police issued an arrest warrant Monday for a second man they think fired shots on Angelus Drive last week, spokeswoman Laura Hourigan said.

One man was killed and two were injured Thursday. Curtis Edward Dow, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.

Maurice Muntez Griffis, 25, and Broderick Sherrod Rowland, 17, were transported to a local hospital. Their injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, Hourigan said.

Police arrested Anthony Edward Gross-Pruitt, 20, Friday on charges of first degree murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. On Monday, a judge ordered him held without bond.

Police charged Rowland Monday with murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He will be transported to Central Prison after he is released from the hospital, Hourigan said.
