Kids Exchange Consignment Sale returns to Raleigh

Doors open 9 a.m. on Friday for the massive Kids Exchange Consignment Sale at the Jim Graham and Expo buildings at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.

As you’re preparing to send your kids back to school, buying new clothes is one of the first things to do on your list. If your kids need more clothes, this is the place to shop.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the sale is completely free to the public, but free tickets must be reserved online before the event. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and the public can come shop until 6 p.m.

Not only can you buy clothes, toys and baby items, the sale also has furniture and many other items all at discounted prices.

A limited number of carts are available, so many people bring their own or use strollers and wagons.

Grandma and longtime consignment sale shopper Cindy Day told WRAL News her biggest piece of advice if you’re shopping Friday is to get there early.

"We get here at the crack of dawn in the morning, wait for the doors to open, so we don't have to wait so long in line.," Day said.

More information is on the Kids Exchange website.
