The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Monday for a missing Rocky Mount man. George Michael Butts, 60, is white with long, white hair and blue eyes. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
About six hours after it was issued, the N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert Monday for a Rocky Mount man. George Michael Butts, 60, is white with long, white hair and blue eyes. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
Butts was reported missing Monday from 730 Marigold St. in Rocky Mount.
Authorities said eh was found safe Monday evening, but did not release additional details.
