Etionne Dubraye Joyner, 16, was last seen Sunday at Greater Joy Missionary Baptist Church, at 820 Nashville Road, police said. She left the service with her son, Ja'Kari.

Police didn't disclose how or where they found Ja'Kari.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons on Monday issued a Silver Alert for Joyner, saying authorities believe she suffers from some type of cognitive impairment.

She is described as black, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 250 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Joyner is asked to call the Rocky Mount Police Department at 252-972-1411.
