Robbery suspect found hiding in ceiling, CMPD says

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police SWAT officers arrested two robbery suspects on Wednesday at an apartment complex in south Charlotte

A CMPD spokesperson told WCNC Charlotte police officers were looking for two robbery suspects at the complex. One of the suspects reportedly surrendered to police.

The second suspect stayed inside and was found hiding in the ceiling, according to CMPD. Neither suspect has been identified at this time.

A medic confirmed it was on standby for police support but wouldn't comment on the nature of the response.
