RDU to auction items from lost-and-found

Jewelry, shoes and sports equipment are among the items abandoned at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and available for auction on Saturday.

The airport will auction items from the lost-and-found as well as excess office equipment and 13 vehicles. 

Buyers can preview the items beginning at 8 a.m. at the RDU Maintenance Building on National Guard Drive, and the bidding begins at 9 a.m.
