We have an update on ticket sales for Pullen Park's popular Holiday Express ...

To mark its 10th anniversary, Raleigh parks is adding a tenth day to the popular event, which features visits with Santa, carousel rides, lots of holiday decorations, sledding down a snow-covered hill, crafts, games and a train ride.

The event will run 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Dec. 7 to Dec. 10 and Dec. 12 to Dec. 17. Tickets will be $11.29 per person, including service fees, and are required for all guests ages 2 and up.

The event is presented by Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources and the Crabtree Rotary Club with a portion of proceeds supporting Rotary charities.

As I wrote earlier this week, tickets go on sale at 8 a.m., Tuesday, July 25. Tickets will only be available to purchase online through a special Holiday Express page on Eventbrite. There will be no walk-in or over the phone ticket sales for this event. As in years past, you will receive a designated train departure time when you purchase your ticket.

Tickets sold out within hours last year, so, if you want to go, July 25 is definitely a date you'll want to mark on your calendar.
