Artsplosure in downtown Raleigh

Raleigh's longest-running arts market returns this weekend to downtown.

Shop blocks and blocks of work from an eclectic selection of photographers, painters, and craftspeople in pottery, jewelry, woodwork and more, Saturday and Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.

Enjoy live music and get personal with custom works of performance art by the Poetry Fox or Song Confessional.

Bring your camera for selfies with “Evanescent Bubbles,” the immersive sound and light environment created by Australian artists Renzo B. Larriviere and Zara Pasfield. The sculptures will be on display for the public on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Families will enjoy the hands-on crafts of Kidsplosure, allowing budding artists to explore their creativity with paper, soap, textiles and more.
