Raleigh police surround stolen car that crashed into state trooper vehicle

The driver of a stolen vehicle crashed into a State Trooper's vehicle in Raleigh on Wednesday night after a pursuit.

Two lanes of Western Blvd. were closed at the intersection with Kent Road.

A red Infiniti was stopped in the middle of the road near the Circle K with damage to the front. Several Raleigh police vehicles had it circled.

A person appeared to be handcuffed at the scene; however, highway patrol says the suspect is not in custody at this time.

There were no injuries, according to officials.
