Three Raleigh police officers were injured Monday morning after a man ran his pickup truck into a marked police car and resisted arrest after a domestic dispute.
Officers were responding to a reported assault on Williams Road shortly after 10 a.m. when they spotted a truck matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

Police attempted to stop the truck, driven by Max Felton Mitchell, 53, but he refused and later crossed the center line and hit Officer L.N. Yesh's patrol car head-on, police said.
The police vehicle was parked in the opposite lane near St. George Road.
Yesh, 24, was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh with non-life threatening injuries.
After the collision, two officers were injured while arresting Mitchell. Officer E.E. Tansey, 29, suffered an ankle injury and Officer R. Sirianna, 34, suffered a hand injury. Both were also transported to WakeMed.
Mitchell is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer inflicting serious injury, DWI, careless and reckless driving and driving while license revoked. In addition, he is charged with assault on a female, communicating threats and a violation of a domestic violence protective order.
Mitchell remained at the Wake County jail Tuesday morning on a $305,000 bond. He is scheduled to make a first court appearance at 2 p.m.
The victim of the domestic assault was treated at the scene.
