Raleigh police charge man with murder

Raleigh police arrested a 49-year-old man and charged him with murder in connection with an acquaintance's death Wednesday.

Officers responded to a deceased person call around 6:15 p.m. and found the body of Ybo Francois, 50, behind Jumbo China Buffet at 1625 Ronald Drive. Police did not say how he died.

Detectives charged Stephen William Plato with murder in connection with Francois' death. The two men knew each other, according to police.

Plato was taken to the Wake County jail, and Francois' remains were taken to the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy. No other information was released.
