Raleigh man charged with sexual exploitation of 14-year-old

A Raleigh man will appear in court Thursday after authorities say he asked an underage girl to take photos in her underwear.

Court documents show 44-year-old Charles Jonathan Cox is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.

Authorities said he asked a 14-year-old girl to send him pictures of her in her underwear. He is also accused of asking her to perform a sexual act on camera.

Cox was arrested Wednesday by Raleigh police officers.
