Raleigh Man Accused of Statutory Rape

A Raleigh man faces charges in connection with the statutory rape of a 14-year-old teen.

Jose Rodriquez Gonzalez, 25, was arrested Saturday.

Police said Gonzalez raped the teenager repeatedly over the course of a month.

He was being held on $300,000 bond at the Wake County Jail on Sunday morning. His first court appearance was set for Monday afternoon.
