Experts discuss human trafficking at forum

Raleigh police arrested a man Friday who is accused of prostituting a mentally disabled person.

Raymond Lamont Sharp, 34, of 3306 Pine Grove Road, faces one count of promoting prostitution of a mentally disabled person.

An arrest warrant alleges that Sharp arranged transportation for the victim to a Super 8 motel and rented a room there for the purpose of having sex for money.

The age of the victim was not indicated in the warrant.

Sharp was in the Wake County Detention Center Saturday under a $75,000 secured bond.
