Raleigh firefighters will give free masks away Thursday until they run out of supplies.

Signs reading, "No mask, no service," are popping up at more businesses as the number of local coronavirus cases continue to grow.

Masks are still required if you can’t social distance. Gov. Roy Cooper has been urging people to wear masks for months, and President Donald Trump recently began issuing the same message.

Earlier this year, Raleigh firefighters gave away 5,000 masks at another event.

The event starts at 10 a.m. at Fire Station 21 on Southall Road in Raleigh. Firefighters plan to give away masks until 2 p.m.
