Project Enlightenment, a fantastic resources for families in Wake County with kids who are kindergarten age or younger, is offering some virtual sessions for parents in October.

Sessions include tips for virtual learning with young children, how to balance screen time during a pandemic and how to deal with parenting power struggles during a pandemic. The hour-long information sessions take place online, The schedule and details are listed on a flier on Project Enlightenment's website.

Project Enlightenment also is offering phone consultations with teacher parent consultants to address classroom difficulties with behavior, social development and learning for kids who are enrolled in Wake County preschools and child care centers. And it's offering virtual parenting counseling services as well. More information is on Project Enlightenment's website. These services are free. Project Enlightenment is part of the Wake County Public School System.
