President Donald Trump will be making a campaign stop in Greenville on July 17.

Rep. Greg Murphy, R-Pitt, tweeted the news Tuesday.

Murphy is running against Dr. Joan Perry for the 3rd Congressional District seat left open by the death of former Congressman Walter Jones Jr.

Information on the campaign stop is listed on the DonaldJTrump.com website. Tickets are available for the event, which will be held at 7 p.m. at Williams Arena on the campus of East Carolina University.

The rally is a day before former special counsel Robert Mueller is expected to testify before Congress. Mueller is scheduled to publicly testify before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees.
