Police seek missing Fayetteville woman

Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman reported missing last week by her family.

Marcella Anne Thompson was last seen leaving her home around 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 wearing a pink T-shirt and pajama pants.

Thompson, 39, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 108 pounds. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities did not release any further details about the case or say whether they believe Thompson is in danger.
