Police searching for man with 'pointed beard' in Hillsborough bank robbery

Hillsborough police are searching for a man who robbed a bank Monday afternoon.

Authorities said the man walked into the BB&T bank at 351 S. Churton Street at about 3:10 p.m. and demanded money from a teller.

Authorities said the man fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, police said.

The man is described as being black and slim with a full beard that came to a point. He is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, brown boots, eyeglasses and a blue hat.
