Officials with the Chapel Hill Police Department have released a composite sketch and report that they believe could help identify the man responsible for the 2012 murder of Faith Hedgepeth.

Hedgepeth was a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. On Sept. 7, 2012, friends found her body at her apartment at the Hawthorne on the View complex located at 5639 Old Chapel Hill Road.

Now, more than four years later, a "snapshot tool" created by Parabon NanoLabs has created a 3-D sketch of the suspect based on his DNA traits.
