Police investigate theft of more than $132,000 cash from Sanford theater

Sanford police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $132,000 from a local theater.

The Temple Theatre reported on Jan. 13 the embezzlement of $132,378 cash by a suspect "fraudulently making personal transactions without approval" from the business, according to a police incident report.

It's unclear if authorities have a suspect in the case.
