Police investigate stabbing in Wake Forest

Police were investigating a stabbing in Wake Forest on Friday morning.

Police said a 43-year-old man was stabbed around 3 a.m. near East Wait Avenue and North Allen Road.

The man was taken to a hospital, but his injuries were not serious, police said.

A suspect has not been identified, Wake Forest officials said, and a motive is not known.
