Police identify victims in Raleigh hotel homicide

Raleigh police said a man and a woman were killed in a shooting Friday morning at a hotel near Crabtree Valley Mall.

Police identified the victims as April Lynn Holland, 22, and Dwayne Garvey, 27.

Police officers responded shortly before 5 a.m. to the shooting at America's Best Value Inn at 3921 Arrow Dr. When they arrived, officers found Holland and Garvey dead at the scene.
