Police: Garner man sent child porn to detective

A Garner man was jailed Friday under a $2 million bond after authorities said he emailed sexually explicit photos of children to a Cary police detective.

Eric Martin Pepke, 53, of 1832 Plantation Pine, was charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Authorities said Pepke downloaded a dozen explicit images and then emailed them to an undercover detective who regularly identifies and tracks child sexual predators.
