Police: 43-year-old man dies in Raleigh shooting

A 43-year-old man died after being shot late Tuesday night in Raleigh, police said.

Raleigh police responded around 10:30 p.m. to the shooting that happened on Bakers Grove Way. When they arrived, officers found Vernon Jerome Jefferys, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
