Playground Review: R.S. Dunham Park

Playground Review: R.S. Dunham Park

Dunham Park near downtown Cary isn't a big park. But it's got just about everything a kid would need to spend an hour or two.

There's a playground, basketball courts, some open space and tennis courts, along with benches and picnic tables for a rest. The leafy playground offers dedicated play pieces for kids ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12, along with swings. This is standard playground equipment - slides, monkey bars and the like - but you'll also find a teeter totter and a modern merry go round.

There's a small parking lot here and public restrooms. Dunham Park is at 519 Walnut St. in Cary.
