Pittsboro gets new playground, splash pad

The town of Pittsboro has a new park thanks to the developers of a local community.

The developers of Chatham Park unveiled the Knight Farm Community Park last week. The 10-acre park is part of the community's 2,000 acres of open space, parks and walking trails. Knight Farm includes a playground and splash pad with water fountains that are activated by a switch.
