Pilates studio, diner & bar coming to downtown Raleigh's Smoky Hollow District

Midwood Smokehouse is tucked into the new Smoky Hollow development near downtown Raleigh.

Three new retailers will be coming to downtown Raleigh's Smoky Hollow District.

JETSET Pilates, Tucker Street Diner and a new neighborhood bar by the team behind Madre will be the latest establishments to join the expanding roster of businesses in the Glenwood South area, Kane Realty Corporation announced Tuesday.

"We are so excited to welcome these three new retailers to Smoky Hollow," said Stacey Buescher, managing director of operations for Kane Realty Corporation. "Each retailer brings something unique to the table, contributing to the diverse tapestry of businesses that make this neighborhood so special.

"We are committed to the success of downtown retail, and these new establishments represent the kind of quality and innovation we strive to attract. Merchandising mix is crucial in these areas and this group fills the gaps we were seeing. A new wave of life to Smoky Hollow is here ready to further enrich our community.”

The realty group also announced it will have a live pop-up music set every Thursday evening, from April 4 to June 27.

JETSET Pilates

JETSET Pilates is an internationally-known brand known for its elevated Pilates experience, the realty group said.

Studio owners Renee Aquilino and Katie Myers promise to bring a unique wellness experience to the residents and visitors of Smoky Hollow.

Tucker Street Diner

Tucker Street Diner is slated to debut in fall 2024.

Led by Michelle and James Park, the owners behind the Shiny Diner in Raleigh and Peak City Diner in Apex, will showcase classic American fare with a modern twist. The restaurant will use locally sourced ingredients for both quality and sustainability.

Tucker Street Diner will also have a coffee shop, featuring artisanal coffees and an all-day breakfast menu.

Neighborhood bar

The neighborhood bar (name TBD), owned and operated by the team behind Madre, will have a relaxed atmosphere with draft cocktails, beer, wine and snacks.
