Pie Pushers serves pizza at the Food Truck Rodeo at Durham Central Park on Sunday, March 11, 2012.

Popular pizza food truck Pie Pushers has opened a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Durham.

The shop is located just above The Pinhook at 117 W Main St.

Fans will recognize some of their favorite pizzas (Barb’s Margherita, Pace Car, State of Nirvana), as well as, some new menu items, including fried eggplant. The restaurant will be offering fried food, something the truck isn't equipped to produce. So look for fried garlic knots, fried chicken wings and more.

Some pizzas can be ordered by the slice, but a larger variety can be ordered in half or whole pie quantities. Salads, beer, wine, and Boylan sodas are also available. Pie Pushers is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Those hours extend until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays.
