Raleigh-Durham Airport police arrested a Philadelphia woman accused of rolling around the floor, using vulgar language and flipping off a bartender working at the airport.

Charlese Eackles, 32, of Philadelphia, is charged with disorderly conduct at a terminal and second-degree trespassing.

When authorities arrived on 10:09 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the Terminal 2 concourse, she said she did nothing wrong, a police report states. Several witnesses told police Eackles was the one causing the disturbance.

Eackles said she was not familiar with the incident and said “It had to be another girl,” according to the report. It stated Eackles showed signs of intoxication.

Police told Eackles if she caused another disturbance she wouldn’t be allowed to board her flight. She said she understood.

Around 10 minutes later, airport police saw Eackles cursing at a bartender and flipping the bartender off.

Authorities also gave Eackles a chance to sober up so she could depart for her scheduled flight.

A police sergeant told Eackles she needed to leave the Terminal 2 Concourse for trespassing at the airport.

A K-9 officer and two other officers escorted Eackles to the Terminal 2 ticketing area to issue a trespass notice. One of the officer helped Eackles, her sister and aunt with rebooking a flight at a later date. The three women were due to return on Dec. 30 to RDU for their flight.

The report states Eackles got upset when her aunt was taking police’s side in the situation.

Eackles refused to walk with her family and stood by the entrance of the Terminal 2 checkpoint, according to the report. One of the family members tried to grab Eackles by the hand and force her into the elevator.

Eackles kept walking away from her aunt and using vulgar language, the report states.

Authorities told Eackles multiple times to leave the property.

The report states she refused to get into a taxi, an officer told Eackles her next outburst would result in her arrest.

A family member tried pushing Eackles into the taxi.

“However, Ms. Eackles fought back by pushing and shoving her aunt,” the report states.

Police then arrested Eackles.

Authorities took Eackles to the Wake County Detention Center and given a $2,000 unsecured bond. Her court date is set for Jan. 25 at the Wake County Justice Center.
