Man arrested after crashing into tree on Glenwood Avenue

A man was arrested early Wednesday morning after crashing into a tree on Glenwood Avenue.

At 12:32 a.m., authorities responded to a crash with injuries in the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue.

The car was traveling northbound on Glenwood Avenue when the driver lost control near Peace Street. The car hit a tree before landing on its side.

A man and a woman were in the car at the time of the crash. They both had minor injuries and were checked out at the scene by an ambulance. The woman passenger was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The driver had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.
