Perdue, Moore to Debate

The two leading Democratic candidates in the 2008 gubernatorial campaign will face off for the first time on this year's Election Day.

Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue and State Treasurer Richard Moore will debate education in Greensboro on Nov. 6.

The debate will be part of the North Carolina School Boards Association's annual conference.
