Pedestrian killed in Kenly crash

A man was walking on Weaver Road in Kenly was killed when a car hit him late Monday night, according to the state Highway Patrol.

Randall Reid Morgan Jr, 41, was walking north in the roadway when he was struck from behind by a car driven by Ralph Wayne Crocker. Troopers said Crocker was not injured and that alcohol was not a factor. They did not say whether he would face any charges.
