Pedestrian fatally struck in Moore County

A pedestrian died after being struck by a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 1 in Aberdeen early Saturday.

Emergency officials responded to the crash just before 1 a.m. near Johnson Street.

Brady Keith Mullendore, 35, of Aberdeen, was killed.

U.S. Hwy 1 was blocked in both directions while law enforcement investigated.
