Paula's Pimento Cheese Stash

I interviewed Paula Deen this morning and she promised to let me sample her special stash of pimento cheese when I travel to Savannah. Today’s question: if you could have a famous chef cook or prepare you a dish – who and what would they be?

I don’t eat as much pimento cheese as I used to for obvious health reasons but it is my favorite comfort food.

The Washington Post recently did an extensive article on the emergence of pimento cheese as a hip Southern food that is finding its way into numerous recipes at top restaurants across the country.

You can even buy a $19 pimento cheeseburger at Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain in New York. Just curious – how many of you like pimento cheese and what is your favorite brand?
