Part of Capital Boulevard closed for police investigation after crash

Wake Forest police closed a stretch of Capital Boulevard near NC Highway 98 Sunday night following an accident involving at least two vehicles, authorities said.

Two ambulances were leaving the scene after 10 p.m. Sunday but police have not said if anyone was transported for medical care.

Police have not provided many details about the incident.

Authorities have not yet said how the crash occurred.
