Get a look inside the Triangle's million-dollar homes

A growing number of homes in the Triangle are selling for more than $1,000,000!

In Wake County alone, nearly 1,100 homes have sold in the million-dollar and up range so far this year.

This weekend, you can get a look inside some of the most luxurious ones on the market.

A look in Raleigh's North Ridge neighborhood will show you what $7 million will get you.

The home at 1400 Rock Dam Court is one of the homes you can see this weekend on the Triangle Parade of Homes.

It's also the most expensive one at just under $7 million - $6,999,900.

This is a 9,000-square foot, high-design home by Raleigh Custom Homes. The owner's suite is one of five bedrooms.

One bathroom allows you to control the shower from your phone.

There's a lovely kitchen and living room, which looks out to this indoor-outdoor space. The outside space features a saltwater, heated infinity pool.

The designer of this home says luxury buyers coming into the Triangle want to feel they're at a resort, at home.

"The amenities here are endless, and that’s what we do in our luxury homes," said Raleigh Custom Homes Lead Designer Connie Allen. "We are finding that people are moving here in this price point they will afford coming from different areas. It makes this even more affordable. Sometimes it sounds like it’s not, but it is."

Allen is the lead designer on the home and took WRAL News on a tour.

The entertainment wing of the house features a 186-inch screen, an HD golf simulator and a full rec-space and bourbon bar.

You can check out this home and 185 others on the Triangle Parade of Homes Tour. The doors are open noon to 5 p.m. each day through Sunday and again next weekend.

The best part is it's free to attend!
