Police were searching Saturday for two men wanted in the robbery of three people held at gunpoint for more than 30 minutes.

Two men and a woman were stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Raleigh Road and Henry Street shortly after midnight when two men jumped in their car, police said. The men forced them to drive to several locations and eventually took their money, jackets and a pair of shoes before getting out, police said.

The robbers fired a single shot at the car as it drove off at the end of the incident, police said.

Warrants for charges of second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon have been obtained against Robert Battle, 26, and Timothy Arrington, 19, police said.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Battle or Arrington is asked to call the Rocky Mount Police Department.
