The owner of a popular Raleigh coffee shop died days before the Christmas holiday.
David Sullivan, owner of Cup A Joe, died suddenly on Thursday morning, according to a post on the shop's Facebook page.
"We are sad to say that Dave Sullivan passed away suddenly Thursday morning. We are all in shock and appreciate the love and support that is already pouring in," a post read. Cup A Joe will remain open, according to the post.
Sullivan was 66 years old.
Cup A Joe is located on the corner of Hillsborough and Daisy streets near NC State University and opened in 1991.
