Orange County authorities find body of missing woman

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the body of a missing woman has been found.

The body of 79-year-old Annette McBroom was found late Sunday evening, authorities said.

The sheriff's office asked for the public's help earlier in the day.

McBroom suffered from dementia and diabetes and was on medication for a heart condition.

Authorities said it was unclear how long McBroom had been missing, although her daughter had contact with her on Thursday.
