OnlyBurger to open second Durham location

OnlyBurger will open its second brick-and-mortar location at American Tobacco Campus in Durham in August.

The popular food truck OnlyBurger will open a second brick-and-mortar location in Durham this August, representatives announced Tuesday.

The new 1,850 square-foot location will be at American Tobacco Campus, 359 Blackwell St.

OnlyBurger's food truck hit the street in 2008. Two years later, owners opened the first OnlyBurger restaurant at 3710 Shannon Road in Durham. The ATC location will be twice the size of the first one.

"We look forward to opening at American Tobacco and serving Durham's best burgers to everyone living, working and playing downtown," owner Brian Bottger said in a press release.

Michael Goodmon, vice president of real estate for Capitol Broadcasting Company, the parent company of American Tobacco Campus, WRAL -TV and WRAL.com, said, “Everyone at American Tobacco is extremely happy to celebrate our 10th anniversary with the arrival of a homegrown hit like Only Burger. It joins a parade of quality restaurants at the campus which will only get more diverse.”
