One wounded in shooting outside Wilson supermarket

One person was wounded Monday night in a shooting outside a Wilson supermarket, police said.

Officers responded at about 7:30 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of Harris Teeter, at 3401 Raleigh Road Parkway West.

The shooting victim was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment.

No other details were available Monday night.
