One shot, two others injured at Benson bar

Police officers are investigating a shooting Friday night at a Benson bar.

Benson police responded to a shooting call around 8:30 p.m. at Big Times Bar & Grill on 1407 North Wall Street.

Police said three people were injured, including one man who had been shot after an altercation between patrons and staff. He was transported to Wake Medical Center. The two other injured people were treated at the scene. 

Benson police have determined the shooting was an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed as of Saturday morning.
