19-year-old killed, Raleigh Police charge two 17-year-olds with murder

The Raleigh Police Department has arrested two additional suspects Wednesday in the recent homicide.

Both suspects are 17 years old and have been charged with murder.

On Oct. 21, police responded to a shooting around 12:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Sawyer Road.

Taliyah Watson, 19, was transported by vehicle to the hospital, where she later died.

Authorities have charged two minors and three adults, identified as A'shante Freeman 21, Jordan Sanders, 23, and Kevon Hicks, 26, in connection with a recent murder case.

The investigation is ongoing.
