Man killed in serious wreck on Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh

A 34-year-old man was killed Friday morning in a serious wreck on Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh.

The wreck happened near the intersection of Edwards Mill Road and Glen Eden Drive shortly before 8 a.m.

Authorities shut down northbound lanes of Edwards Mill Road following the wreck. An investigation of the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
