One injured in I-85 wreck

Police are investigating a two vehicle wreck that occurred on Interstate-85 south just before the Roxboro Street exit Friday evening.

One car stopped on the interstate because it had run out of gas. As the car was being moved out of the road, another car struck it.

The impact ejected the driver of the stopped car, authorities said. The driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to Duke Medical Center for treatment of head injuries.
