One injured in accidental Raleigh shooting

A person was shot at a north Raleigh apartment community Sunday evening, police said. Officers were dispatched to 4601 Lynn Point Lane shortly before 6 p.m. for a shots-fired call. The victim was taken to WakeMed Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A person was shot at a north Raleigh apartment community Sunday evening, police said. 

Officers were dispatched to 4210 Lynn Point Lane, unit K, shortly before 6 p.m. for a shots-fired call. They said three people got into an argument about money and began fighting over a firearm.

The gun went off accidentally. The victim was taken to WakeMed Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No charges were expected, police said.
