One hurt in shooting at west Fayetteville home

An unidentified person was wounded early Friday in a shooting on Cassidy Court in Fayetteville, police said. 

Officers responding to the 5400 block of Cassidy Court at about 1:15 a.m. found the person in front of a home on the street. 

The person was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was undergoing surgery, authorities said. 

No arrests have been made in the incident.
