Man found shot overnight in Durham

A person was found, shot and dead, in the street early Tuesday in the 900 block of East Main Street in Durham.

Police said Mark Antwan Peaks, 30, of Durham, had multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, where a crowd had gathered around 2 a.m.
