One dead after crash in Fayetteville Wednesday night

A motorcyclist is dead Wednesday night after colliding with another vehicle on Yadkin Road in Fayetteville.

According to Fayetteville Police, officers were called to Yadkin Road at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found the motorcyclist on the roadway.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The man's identity is currently being withheld until family is notified, according to police.
